We have an exciting news. Our client, Ms. SJ is finally submitting her original passport to get an immigration visa! Congratulations!
She filed her PR application through Federal Skilled Worker program in June 2009. Unfortunately, the regulations related to the Federal Skilled Worker program have been changed several time, which delayed overall FSW application process. Maybe that’s why? Her application was originally submitted to the Canadian Visa Office in Buffalo, NY but it was transferred to Seattle Visa Office, and, unlikely other cases, she was the only client who was called for a personal interview at the visa office in Seattle.
She broke our office records taking the most processing time for the FSW immigration application process, about 20 months! But, Guess what! She got it!
I will take her picture and post it to the blog when she receives her Landing paper and PR visa.
Yesterday, we received lots of approvals and medical exam requests. One of them is the case I’m going to introduce you. As you can see the title of this posting, this case is extension of visitor status. We submitted the application on October 28, 2010 and it was approved on March 08, 2011. It took 131 days for Immigration Canada to issue the Visa document. I don’t know why it takes getting longer to get processed. We shouldn’t pay them for this slow process. Don’t you agree?
Anyway, let’s congratulate our client MSJ in her approval We are happy to inform you about the approval and see you soon for your Sponsorship application.
We received another approval for a Work Permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada. After receiving a positive LMO from Service Canada, the Work Permit application was submitted online on January 21, 2011 and it was approved on March 15, 2011. We waited a bit less than 2 months, much faster than submitting by mailing.
The main applicant included her two children in the Work Permit application for their Visitor Records and they were all approved without any issues.

Today, we received another approval from the Canadian Visa Office in Mexico. Congratulations, Mr. OGCR!
It was not an easy case because not only his admission to Canada at the port of entry was refused for the first time, but also his TRV application for the second admission to Canada had been refused. However, I resolved all issues for him while representing this case against the visa office in Mexico. Now, he can visit her sister in Canada to celebrate the birthday!

We submitted his application on November 3rd, 2010 and it took 126 days to be approved. How could it take longer than 4 months!? It has been ridiculous since last summer, but what can we do?
